Corinna is interested in human individual and collective reasoning, rationality and behaviour. She has worked extensively on aspects of agent-based modelling of normative behaviour, focusing on aspects of social influence currently missing in the modelling repertoire such as compliance, morality and collective intentionality. A book, co-authored with Nigel Gilbert is forthcoming with Springer. With a background in philosophy of science Corinna has an avid interest in methodological and philosophical aspects of agent-based modelling including questions of the explanatory power of models, problems of prediction, levels of abstraction and questions of the ontology of the social world. Corinna has a BSc and MSc in Philosophy of Science from the London School of Economics and a PhD in Logic from King’s College London. In GLODERS Corinna will be working on theoretical aspects such as questions of the formalization and operationalization of ERS.
